Prairies Golf Course

The Prairies is an 18-hole municipal golf course owned by the Village of Cahokia. The Prairies is a link-style golf course with water coming into play on half of the holes. Bermuda fairways and bent grass greens are The Prairies' turf choices. The Prairies is set in the back of Cahokia park, cut out of the woods and natral wetlands. The praires is a par 71 golf course with four sets of tees to choose from. 6600 yards are the championship tees, 6300 regular tees, 5900 senior tees and 5400 women tees.

The Prairies' greens are always in great shape, with true and fast roll. The Prairies also has a new driving range, just put in this past year with both grass tees and covered tees. Two putting greens are also available next to The Prairies clubhouse and well-stacked pro shop.

The prairies is open year round any time the temperature is above freezing. The restaureant has fish fry every Friday between March and December, open from 11AM to 7PM. The Prairies offers great senior rates at $22 for 18 holes with a cart Monday thru Friday anytime; senior rates start at 50 year old. Mondays play all day for $25. Twilight after 1PM - $25 play 18 with a cart. Weekend rates of $37 with a cart. Weekday rate of $30 for 18 holes with a cart.

The new Winter rates will be effective October 24 thru March 1.Monday thru Friday play all day for $20.For Saturday and Sunday play all day for $25.
