Department of Code Enforcement

The department of Code Enforcement consists of three full time employees. Two code enforcement officers and an office clerk. The department has been entrusted by the Mayor and village board to enforce all ordinances pertaining to building permits, building inspections, issuance of occupancy permits, electrical permits, yard Sale permits, vegetation growth limitations, derelict vehicles, trash accumulation and occupancy violations. The department also enforces the zoning ordinance, flood plain ordinance, sub division and development code and business license violations.

Working Hours
Monday thru Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Closed for lunch daily from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
